Michael Glass: Short But Sweet

I started chanter lessons in late 2020 after really enjoying bagpipe music for years. I finally decided it was time to learn. I just wanted to learn to play a tune or two for my own personal satisfaction. The sound of the pipes has always intrigued me.

Being new and never having any musical training at all and being in my 50s now, I thought it would be very difficult to learn. While the first few months have been difficult at times, each newly learned skill, embellishment or tune is very satisfying.

I am very new to the site, but the community is very supportive and there is a TON of material. I am confident in my choice to join the Dojo!
