Wanted to play for most of my adult life. I finally found an opportunity several years ago with local march band in NJ.

initially went well but arthritis kicked in making it harder to feel chanter. Band dissolved. I moved to Georgia. Haven't played in two years at least. Want to give it another try. Just found my practice chanter after the move. Still have my pipes.

Unfortunately it feels kinda foreign.

but my heart still skips at the sound.

wondering if it might be too late to get back?
