Jim H. - Phase 2 - Jig

Greetings Jim! Hey now, that sounded nice! Do you notice a marked improvement in your note change quality lately? I will be willing to bet that has a lot to do with being so close in with the click! ?

Phase 2 Result: 11/11 Requirements Achieved

Metronome Clearly Audible? Yes
"Best" Tempo Selection? Yes
Rhythm/Note-values understood? Yes
Rhythms accurate to the click of the metronome? Yes

Overall Rhythm Comments from Timothy:
There was some playing at the front of the beat and the occasional gracenotes that were "early openers". Keep an ear on these and keep reacting to the click. Good work here.

Correct Melody Notes? Yes
Hole Coverage Good? Yes
Crossing Noises? No
Correct Gracenotes? Yes
Missed Gracenotes? No
Gracenotes Too Big/Sloppy? No
Gracenotes Out of Sync? No

Overall Basic Melody Comments from Timothy:
This was really nice playing, no consistent navigational issues (one lift/drop of note, right at the end) and good gracenote quality. You seem to be working on relaxing your fingers a little more as well. Letting your shoulders relax so that your elbows come down will make for less tension overall. This is playing to be proud of Jim! Watch out for those D to E crossing noises when the pressure is on!
